FLYER/INVITATION

AFSA Chapter 1379 11th Annual POW/MIA Dinner.

The dinner program this year will also commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the beginning of the Korean War (27 June 1950) and the 65th Anniversary of the ending of World War II (14 August 1945).

 

The dinner program will be held at the American Legion Post 564 Hall, 2120 Walsh Ave., Santa Clara, CA on Friday, 17 September 2010, the National POW/MIA Recognition Day.

 

Our speaker this year will be SSgt William D. “Denny” Weisgerber, USMC (Retired). SSgt Weisgerber was awarded the Navy Cross and a Purple Heart for his heroic action in Korea. He has a very interesting story to tell.

 

You are invited to attend this patriotic event.
